How was the product developed?

Feedback from our other products in recent years showed an increasing desire for conversation cards explicitly focused on sexuality and closeness. In other Paarzeit products, the topic of love life plays only a minor role. With PaarMinuten Pillow Talk, we aim to provide couples with an easy way to discuss sexuality and intimacy.

During development, a pool of categories and questions was created, which were then evaluated by our test users. The ideas that scored highest are now included in the card set. The Paarzeit team has brought expertise in design and psychology, along with a lot of love and creativity, to PaarMinuten Pillow Talk.

What conversation prompts can we expect?

The PaarMinuten Pillow Talk cards consist of 6 different categories. You can freely choose which card to pick at any time.

Who is PaarMinuten suitable for?

Like all Paarzeit products, PaarMinuten Pillow Talk is intended for all couples who want to spend some quality time together – regardless of age, gender, profession, family status, or fitness level.

The product also gives couples who don’t talk much about their love life an easy way to engage in conversations about intimate topics – the content is not tailored to any specific sexuality or explicit sexual preferences.

How much time should we plan for each card?

You can talk about the conversation prompts for as long as you like. Even if some questions are quickly answered, a longer conversation can easily develop from them – just see what works best for you at the moment.

In what order should we play the cards?

That’s up to you. You can either draw a random card from the stack or consciously choose a category that you’re in the mood for.

What is the significance of the categories?

Each category has its own response format. For example, each person answers for the other, or there is a small countdown, and you answer simultaneously. The categories also give you a hint about the thematic direction of the cards.

Can someone win or lose?

No. The cards serve as conversation prompts – there is no right or wrong. The main thing is that you spend a few enjoyable minutes together.

Can the questions lead to awkward or uncomfortable situations?

Great care was taken during development to avoid exactly that. In our opinion, conversations about sexuality and closeness are not about defining a “better” or “worse,” but about having an open, positive, and relaxed chat.
